Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 7, 2026

Your trust matters. This Privacy Policy explains what information the SaleemCare mobile application and website collect, how we use and protect it, and the choices and rights you have. By creating an account or using SaleemCare, you agree to this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Account and profile information you provide when you register and use SaleemCare, including your first and last name, email address, phone number, gender, marital status, and date of birth. Health information you enter during a symptom assessment, including the body area you select, your symptoms, and your answers to the diagnostic questions. Technical information collected automatically, such as device model, operating-system version, app version, language, and a unique installation identifier used to deliver notifications and keep your session secure.

2. How We Use Information

We use your information to create and secure your account; run the AI symptom assessment and show you results; save your assessments and lab-report explanations so you can review them; send service messages and notifications; provide customer support; improve and troubleshoot the app; and meet our legal and regulatory obligations. We do not use your health data for advertising, and we do not sell your personal data.

3. Medical and Health Data

Your health information is treated as sensitive data. It is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest, access is restricted on a strict need-to-know basis, and it is processed only to provide the assessment and related features you request. SaleemCare's assessments are informational and are not a medical diagnosis — please see our Terms of Service.

4. How We Share Information

We share personal data only with: (a) infrastructure and service providers who process data on our behalf under confidentiality and data-protection agreements, such as cloud hosting and Google Firebase for push notifications; (b) a hospital or healthcare provider that you explicitly choose to share an assessment with; and (c) authorities when required by law. We never sell your personal or health data.

5. Third-Party Services

SaleemCare uses Google Firebase (including Firebase Cloud Messaging and core Firebase services) to deliver notifications and operate the app. Firebase may process a device identifier and basic technical data under Google's privacy terms. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.

6. Data Retention

We keep your account and health information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we delete or irreversibly anonymize your personal and health data within 30 days, except where we must retain limited records to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes.

7. Account and Data Deletion

You can delete your account and associated data at any time from within the app (Settings → Account → Delete account) or by emailing [email protected]. You may also request deletion online at https://saleemcare.com/delete-account. Deletion is permanent and removes your profile and saved assessments as described under Data Retention.

8. Security

We apply technical and organizational measures appropriate to health data, including encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access controls, secure credential storage on your device, and optional biometric (fingerprint / Face ID) sign-in. Biometric data never leaves your device. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Rights Under Jordanian Law

Subject to applicable Jordanian data-protection law, you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below; you may also use the in-app account-deletion option.

10. Children's Privacy

SaleemCare is intended for users aged 18 and older. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. A parent or legal guardian who creates and supervises an account may use it on behalf of a minor in their care. If you believe a child has provided us data without guardian consent, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Cookies and Analytics

Our website uses essential cookies to remember your language and preferences, and basic analytics to understand usage and improve the Service; you can control cookies through your browser settings. The SaleemCare mobile app does not use advertising cookies.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email. Your continued use of SaleemCare after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
